We’re thrilled to welcome Los Angeles trio Faetooth to The Flenser for the release of their second full-length album, Labyrinthine, arriving September 5.
Following their 2022 debut Remnants of the Vessel, Faetooth continues to develop a sound that blends weight and atmosphere—drawing from doom, shoegaze, and grunge while maintaining a voice that feels entirely their own. Labyrinthine pushes further inward, embracing emotional complexity, lyrical depth, and sonic contradiction.
True to its name, Labyrinthine winds through a maze of feeling and form—grief, memory, uncertainty—where meaning isn’t handed over easily. The album is rooted in self-discovery through disorientation, exploring the idea that understanding doesn’t come through clarity or resolution, but from sitting with confusion, and finding your way inward.
The album’s first single, “White Noise,” is available to stream now—a tense, immersive track that captures the push and pull between harsh truth and emotional vulnerability. More music and details to come in the weeks ahead.
