Before embarking on sold-out tours and earning widespread critical acclaim, Oklahoma’s Chat Pile brought their bleak, abrasive sound to the main stage at Roadburn. Performing in front of over 3,000 people, the band delivered a punishing set full of sludgy, noise-drenched chaos—proving their uncompromising vision could fill even the biggest rooms.
The live set, recorded by Roadburn’s onsite engineers and remixed by longtime collaborator Jared Stimpfl, captures Chat Pile at a pivotal moment. It’s visceral, towering, and unrelenting—a true document of the band reaching new heights.

Bassist Stin reflects on the experience:
"While our Roadburn performance wasn't the most polished, we hope fans will get a kick out of experiencing the nerves and excitement we felt on stage playing in front of the radically largest audience we'd ever played to at that point in the band's history. It's a raw chronicling of a very important moment in our lives and we're very excited to share it with you."
Live at Roadburn is available digitally now. Vinyl editions will first be available at the Roadburn merch table during the band's main stage appearance on Saturday, April 19, 2025, and later through Flenser Series 7 subscribers. A worldwide vinyl release is scheduled for late 2025.
