Recorded live at Roadburn 2025, Friday April 18th, in the Engine Room. We wrote this music between October 2024 and February 2025 commissioned by Roadburn’s creative director Walter. And to be honest, we were equally honoured and anxious to have even been asked for this. Yes, it is the perfect opportunity to prove ourselves. At the same time, it suddenly felt like we’ve got something to lose. There’s this lingering fear that what we’ve built might be fragile.
That fragility became the heart of our music. And it’s not just personal fragility. The whole world felt delicate, in fact, it still does: the rise of fascism, climate change, neverending despair. Confronting us: all can break. And it will.
But we’re not there yet. Having something to lose also means having something worth fighting for. This music isn’t a warning of loss, but a reminder to treasure the moments we share with the people who matter most. Which is why we gathered so many of our friends to share this moment. It has been crazy. It has been intense. It has been beautiful. We will never forget this.
