At Work in the Fields of the Bomb borrows its title and central concept from Robert Del Tredici’s photo book, which documents the everyday places and people involved in the production of nuclear weapons.
The EP explores the unsettling contrast between the unimaginable consequences of the atomic bomb and the everyday actions that make such destruction possible in the first place. The focus is on the decisions and systems that are steering us toward irreversible moments. The release reflects on how catastrophes can arise from seemingly insignificant details—and how, ultimately, no one will be left to bear witness to the consequences once the annihilation of humanity becomes a real possibility.
