The Botanist side of the split is like two offerings of "new old stock." "EP0: Cicatrix" was recorded between "IV: Mandragora" and "VI: Flora," circa 2011.
The two re-mixes were originally from this period as well, originally meant to be on the split with Palace of Worms. However that split was too long (each band had 30-40 minutes of material), so material was cut. The re-mixes have much less of a "helicopter" effect and the vocals are re-recorded. The original mixes can be heard on the "Hanging Garden B-Sides" also on bandcamp.
